Cookies

By using our Site, you agree to our use of cookies as described below:

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your browser as you use the internet. They are used by web developers to help users navigate their websites efficiently and perform certain functions. Due to their core role of enhancing/enabling usability or site processes, disabling cookies may prevent users from performing certain functions on our Site.

Cookies are created when a user’s browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website’s server.  Cookies do not contain any information that would identify a person.

We use certain cookies, which we have set out in the table below, that are essential for the proper functioning of the Site.  This category of cookies includes those which allow web servers to determine whether you are logged in or not, respond to actions whilst you are logged in and set the language on the Site according to your location.  Accordingly, some facilities provided on the Site will not be available to you if you do not allow those cookies to be downloaded to your browser.

We also use a Google Analytics Cookie that carries out statistical analysis.  We use this cookie to monitor and evaluate the use of our Site (such as browser usage, new visitor numbers and response to marketing activity).  This helps inform any improvements we make to the Site.  We emphasise that this does not contain any information that personally identifies you.  However, you can opt out of the Google Analytics Cookie by visiting their site.

Alternatively, most browsers (Internet Explorer, Firebox, Google Chrome, Safari etc) allow you to change the settings to block or delete cookies.  As mentioned above, if you block all cookies on the Site some functionality will be lost.
